What's the ideal size for the Huskies' 2014 freshman WBB class?

How many players should Geno be after for the 2014 class?

Since UCONN only signed one recruit for 2013, I think UCONN needs to sign a large class of five.

That's fair enough, but I don't like to see overly large classes because of the Anaconda Effect - it's too hard to digest a large meal like that and keep everybody happy.

I like to see alternating classes of three or four players.

Would like a class of 4 or 5, that gets us to 11 or 12 for 2014. 3 is too few. 6 is way too many.

Four as it leaves room for recruits in the following year. As a practical matter, there's a high degree of uncertainty concerning the favorite schools for the remaining listed recruits. I would think that given the uncertainty we may get only one more recruit in the 2014 class.

Even Wendy's fries?

5.

We have 3 now, we need a couple bigs.

3+2 = 5.

6'5 with a 70" wingspan....
Why would you want someone with such short arms for their height?
(Note: Average "proportionate" wingspan approx. equals height. 6'5" = 77". BStew reportedly has wingspan over 84"while she is "only" 76" tall)

Because she listens to Doris Burke too much.

Is it possible to listen to Doris too much? In fact, sometimes when confronted with a major life decision or challenged with a moral quandary, I say to myself, "What would Doris Burke say?"

As long as you comport yourself well, all will be quite ok

WWDBD? You need a bracelet.

Me want biggie. And five would be jive because we are one and done this year. If we have serious injuries, we could be in trouble, and so five gives insurance. And one of them should be a big. I'm huge on Wilson, and one more great shooting wing.

Four is fine if One is a "big". Would put 11 on the roster, which seems to be a favorite Geno number, and would afford plenty of PT. Also leaves schollies for future use.
