Whats makes Drummond so valuable?

Ive never seen him play but I have seen his youtube mixtapes, he looks impressive BUT....

why did he only average 15 points and 11 rebounds? and why did STM go 30-7.

I dont know much about high school hoops but how did his team lose at all?

And why didnt he average 30-40 points a game and STM go undefeated?

He will have a similar role here at UCONN. He passes really well and changes other teams game plan when he is in the paint. He just turned 18 so he is young and may take some time to get the "mean streak" he will need to put up big numbers. We need to replace Kemba's fire and leadership and we need a 20-25 point production increase to replace his points from last year- on all accounts he helps in both areas.

Can't teach 6' 11" 270 lbs...athletic, good hands etc...in high school i'm sure teams 'zoned' the heck out of STM and made other players beat them...made the entry pass hard double team etc...don't get too caught up in the numbers...i suspect he'll avg 8-10 pts and 5-6 rbs and 2-3 blocks a game for us...

Anyone know how Mr. Drummond was with fouling? Do we know if he was foul prone?
