Heather has been a bit unlucky - she was starting to get to a pretty good place when she injured her wrist. She has had a few nice little cameos since, but the wrist is still bandaged, and I would bet that she is somewhat limited in practice.
Wrists, like ankles are complicated joints with lots of bones and cartiledge and tendons - sometimes it is better to actually have a broken bone, because you know how it will heal and can get a good time line, with strains, sprains, etc. it can take longer, and you just never really know what is happening. And you may not give it the rest it needs because you just don't know.
