I'd give the B12 a solid academic and research institution with wings across the country, and an athletic Dept with a history of success and National Championships. On top of that they can share in the top media markets in the US to build their brand and increase revenue.

Or they can stick an anchor around their necks by picking someone like Memphis or a redundant market school like Houston who will further divide the Texas recruiting footprint.

I'm essentially losing both of them, so yeah, I'd give up one for the BigXII... although I arguably lost both of them when I said "I do" anyways.
