That second unit- man, how many times UConn pulled away and turned a small lead into a huge gap when Clingan, Joey C, and Alleyne were in the game. Same thing in the championship game- went from 10-6 losing to up 16-10 with 2nd unit in game

And Dan is probably right and wrong with that, but having your players’ backs publicly like that is everything.

Some coaches would find it hard to believe that you’re even allowed to do that and aren’t supposed to trash your guys to the media and then turn around and yell at them, too.

Going 14-0 and thinking we we’re going to go undefeated for the year, thinking how lost we were in the mid/season slump, seeing our chances increase once Kansas lost, and enjoying my home town guy Clingan play.

So many great moments I’ve lost track! Just utter joy and feeling alive in watching the team ride the highs and lows of a grind of a season. So many real emotions came out. So much bonding. Could see it for the team, did it with my friends and relatives.
