What went right for Creighton and South Dakota (ESPN)

"I was actually hoping to play Colorado," Bluder said Saturday of the No. 7 seed, which fell to the No. 10 Bluejays in the first round. "I thought we matched up with Colorado a little bit better, because with Creighton playing a five-guard offense, basically, it's harder for us to defense them."

I wonder if Bluder will take this loss and actually start coaching defense for the future.

Creighton’s tip-out rebounding was a game changer for getting more possessions.

And yes, Bluder has blamed losses multiple times on “i was expecting more fouls to be called.” How many whistles there are is not something her or her players can control so they need to stop making that a part of their game plan. What they can control is getting all 5 players on the court involved and playing defense. Creighton has NO top-100 players so even Iowa’s role players should be able to get bigger roles and not just stand around.

Ugh. Just realized when I changed the title, I didn't put in South Dakota!!!

Until Bluder realizes she must have at least 2 more legitimate scoring threats, Iowa's chances to go deep into the tourney do not increase.

Will we don't have to hear, "They got 11 All Americans". For those not in the know that is what she said in a press conference endorsing Caitlin for player of the year.
