I will miss everything about Stefanie Dolson. I'll miss her smile. I'll miss her antics of the sort that help unify a team when so many players' antics are distracting. I'll miss her commitment to defense and screening, despite being potentially discouraged by many stupid foul calls on her in that capacity. I'll miss her pretty post moves and capable foul shooting. I'll miss her outspoken leadership. Most appropriately, I'll miss her 17 points, 16 rebounds, and seven assists in a national championship game. It was a fitting ending to a terrific career. Knock 'em dead in the WNBA and beyond, Stef. As I said before, we'll never forget you.

WNBA...a new season, filled with UConn players. Red Sox baseball too. Summer just gets better every year. I can't wait to see Stef laying the wood on some of those teams. Go Mystics!

Recently I rewatched the Regional semi against BYU. Even though Stef was blocked a couple of times by 6'7" Jen Hamson, it never seemed to bother her. I will miss her too and I think she will be harder to replace than Bria "Breezy14" Hartley.
