Call me crazy (some undoubtedly will), but in one respect, this team reminds me of the one with Barbara Turner and Ann Strother 'way back when. No, I do not remember the year. The one aspect in which both are similar is a (fatal) ability to lose their minds for 8 minutes or so in crucial games. It drove me crazy in those days and is doing so now. Which, I suppose, is why you can call me crazy.
Just as in the past, there was no particular reason for it. Not overconfidence. Not nervousness. Maybe letting up when they got a lead. whatever it was or is, it does not bode will for games against the Top Two.
