Louisville, Stanford, ND and Nebraska are hosting. I think this is the last year for home court hosts....is that right?
I would say that UConn/Stanford and ND are very probably one seeds....with Duke leading for the fourth spot.
If that is accurate, I doubt we would be sent to Louisville since that might mean a 4th meeting between UConn and Louisville before the final four. So that would put us in Nebraska. Come to think though, Baylor and Texas A&M were placed in the same region during Griner's soph year. Baylor had won the 2 regular season games....won in the conference tourney...but lost in the final 8 to A&M.
The committee should try to avoid that scenario....regardless whether it is UConn or SomebodyElse University.
