What is the Tie-Breaker?

IF UConn loses to Villenova, and both teams win out, they both end up with 2 losses, and one and one against each other. Will it be declared a tie for the regular season B.E. Title? I seem to remember that happening in the past.

On the radio postgame show with Bob Joyce and Debbie Fisk, they said that in the scenario that you describe, UConn would hold the tiebreaker. But I didn't hear them say what that tiebreaker is.

It does make a difference for Big East tournament seeding.

The tiebreaker would be the record against the team with the 3rd seed. Right now Creighton is the 3 seed and they beat Villanova. Thats just for tournament seeding maybe they do share the regular season title?

Yes, they would share the regular season title. The tiebreaker is only for tournament seeding purposes.
