Reading articles about other good teams and UConn beating them or UConn hasn't played them yet it always comes down to "what if" this happens or that happens or a team lost because one of their star players was injured. Well UConn has over come that. UConn has overcome the "what if's"

Think about this. UConn has knocked off some pretty good teams during the first half of the season and all by double digits and almost all without Butler and Chong. Now that we UConn fans have gotten a taste of what this two some can do we're excited again. Many doubters have become believers again.

So what will it take to beat UConn? Ive said it before. Only UConn can beat themselves no team will beat them. Yeah ND and MD came close and DePaul gave us a run but in the end UConn found a way to win. Now with Butler and Chong healthy well you saw what happened last nite and how Chong in the MD came lit it up. There really isn't any hope for any opponent. Now I know some of you are thinking "what if". There are no what if's with UConn. They win anyway. They overcome everything and have proven that over and over again. Because they trust their stuff.

I saw Baylor lost and the first paragraph talked about one of their stars out. Well UConn beat LSU without Stewie by 40+ and very little is said about Stewie not playing. How good is UConn?

I will repeat myself again. UConn is a team in every sense of the word. They are unselfish, play as a unit, are disciplined like the military, relay on nobody but only on executing their stuff because they know by executing their stuff they make things happen. UConn is to well coached to be taken advantage of.

So now all the talk is about SC playing UConn and SC has their bigs just like MD had and they have depth just like MD had. IMO the depth is only used because their bigs get in foul trouble and that's why UConn made more foul shots then MD. Another point by playing freshman with little experience against a team like UConn well UConns experienced players will make them look like inexperienced freshman.

So now we will hear about USF and SC games. Frankly both good teams but as, good as they are, they don't have the defense to stop UConns scoring and they don't have enough scoring to beat UConn.

Some teams and fans are licking their chops for next season. All of a sudden they want to play UConn again because they think they can hang with UConn and have a better chance of beating UConn. They also know by playing UConn and beating UConn will make a bigger impression on the pollsters. Well get ready. UConn is still a unit, still a team that trusts their stuff and still the National Champions. Im sure the preseason polls next season wont have 100% of the votes going to UConn to be ranked number 1. That's ok because they will have to go out and prove it again.

As for now. This is the greatest team in WCBB and has been for years. SO Opponent Go ahead and give them your best shot and be ready for their best shot.
