What if UConn runs out the rest of the season including the conference championship? Realistically speaking, there is not one team that they have to play for the remainder of the year that they did not prove to me that they were capable of beating. And yes, that includes Cinci. That would make them (hypothetically speaking) 30-5? What cede would you give them and where?

If we win out and are 30-5, I'd be willing to bet we would jump up to the 2 line.

Not likely to happen, but not out of the question.

That would mean wins vs top10 Cinci, @ top15 UL, and then probably another 2 ranked teams (Cinci/Memphis/UL) if we win the AAC tourney.

I think that, combined with wins over Florida, Memphis x2, etc, would probably be enough for a 2 seed if some other things pan out. More likely a 3 though. I see us losing 1 or 2 and getting a 4 (hopefully out West :) )

I know good things have happened when we've gone west but screw that I want the East. Because we've done great things at MSG! How cool would it be to win the regional there?

Let's take one game at a time, I think we are capable of beating all of those teams but we haven't exactly looked good against Louisville recently.

Don't know. There has only been one 30-win team ever to not get a 1-seed. Idk about us though.

This is where I am too. I just don't feel good about beating Louisville. Heck, I was expecting a win @Cincy and feel good about the upcoming rematch. The Ville just seems to have our number.

If that happened a 3, I just don't see us cracking the top 8 to get a 2.
AGREED
Don't forget even if they lose 7 or 8 - Duke and Kansas will both get 2 seeds

The logical move would be to cede Nice and Savoy. After all it had been done before.

The Ville always gives us problems.

The best we could be going into the tourney is 29-5. SMU, @USF, Cincy, Rutgers, @Ville, possibly 3 AAC tournament games.

As long as those top teams that Uconn is playing beats the bottom five as well, then I see no reason why they would not be a #1 seed. at 29 - 5 with close to 3 top 10 victories maybe even 6 top 25 victories. But no lower than a 2 seed, that is of course they run the table, not impossible, wouldnt that be sweet though.

No reunion's guys unless you want Team Fishy to kick your butts!;)
Darn...and you don't even say happy to see you first? :::sigh:::the more things change the more they stay the same! ;)

actually counting the tournament, they could have as many as 5 top 10 victories, come on, there is no way they could be denied.

Tough challenge ahead tomorrow.
Need to avoid bad mojo vibes.
Nic Moore outplayed Bazz and Boatshow in Dallas and their bigs owned the paint. Huskies need revenge! We are doomed, surely DOOMED!

Glad tomorrow is at Gampel. The crowd should be extra-hyped with the 1999 ceremony.

I feel confident about beating Cinncy at home, even if it's in Hartford.

Louisville on the road worries me, we simply don't have an answer for Harrell. Hopefully we can get him in early foul trouble and limit his minutes.
