What if P. has a good season in 2013?

Look at the talent leaving the defense. Just losing both corners will be a major blow.

I expect the guys we have to improve and eventually be great, but Blidi and Gratz were not lockdown corners straight out of the box. There will be a big learning curve.

If the offensive line doesn't improve we could be looking a 3-4 win season max.

HFD has a daughter? Yikes.

As to the thread we may as well post what we'd do if we won Power Ball, or woke up with superpowers.

Not going to happen. Period. What's the old saying? . . . "Paul Pasqualoni has forgotten more football than . . . . he ever knew in the first place".

Excuse my stupidity - it's Fishy w daughter - but praise Jesus no HFDJr is signing up for Twitter tonight.

What makes you believe that if UCONN won8 or 9 wins this past season that should be attributed to HCPP?
Please tell me one instance in 2 seasons where this man's strategy or in game decisions won us a game?
I will wait a long time for that answer.
Should UCONN win 7, 8, or dare I say, more games next season I suggest that this success will have very little to do with HCPP.
ok... so hang PP when they go 5-7, and give him zero credit for putting together a team that went 9-4 or 10-3?
That's fair...

what was Strong's record after 2 seasons? 14-12.. PP after two seasons? 10-14.
how many more games did Strong win in his second year? zero.

PP is not Charlie Strong. But, there is evidence that it may take a third season for a coaches players, philosophy and style to take hold.

The only concern I would have is the turnover in coaches, and whethe this will impact development.

If we win six games next year, it will indicate progress. Yes six. We all want to win 12 ro 13 but being realistic, our schedule is tougher and six wins would be a step in the right direction. Anything less than six is a failure. If we win (say) ten or more, give credit where it's due i.e. to the players AND the coaches. But I don't hold out much hope for ten wins. Hope I'm wrong on that last point.
