What I wish most for Gabby after April 1

Besides happiness forever, of course.

Whatever happens in the FF--assuming UConn "squeaks" by South Carolina tonight--is for her to extend her shot beyond 15 feet and to do so with a jumper rather than a set shot.

She came to UConn a terrible foul shooter and developed into an excellent one. And her 15 footer--whether a jumper or a set--has gotten pretty good. But if she's able to shoot an 18+ foot jumper with consistency, she will be the same force in the pros as she is in college.

But mostly I wish her happiness.

I think she will be fine - her and Kia both. Gabby's jumper looked good tonight - I swear I see a little more arc on the flight of her shot now.
