Stayed up last night until 2 rewatching the game. Was so excited to watch my boys start what i hope will be a solid turnaround season. I learned:
Chandler Whitmer gives me hope. He did ok but has to eliminate turnovers but wasn't scared of the pocket like trick shot. Also noticed that NO ONE can say his name right.
Defense is frick nasty. Pick 6, Smallwood, sacks, disruption city. Remind me of my New York Football Giants.
We might have a Teggart replacement. CC put some nice kicks up there with relative ease. It'll be different when pressure kicks in.
McCombs was OK, not great. Seemed to get some ok runs, but was better with 3 yards up the middle then gettin biG chucks like I expected against UMASS.
I like our WRs. Davis is beast mode squad. Nick williams needs a paragraph by himself. Most importantly I saw us getting some YAC for the first time in awhile. Again. I know it's UMASS but our guys actually looked more dominating than in the past.
Nick Williams is Wes Welker. He should be in every play. Period.
