What has happened to Kromah?

I think Lasan started feeling comfortable, and maybe even thinking that he was going to be one of their main scorers and it that affected his play. Sometimes if it is the wrong type of confidence it can be a hinderance. I think he so badly wants to make a statement as a big impact player on a good Uconn team in hopes that he may somehow get to play in Europe or something. I think lately he has come back to earth a bit and played within the offense again, but there was a few games there were he was taking way to many bad drives. Also, when people are aware of you more, it is harder to score...I think a combo of both.

But that would mean ur giving up on the kid in the most crucial time of the year. You wouldn't be doing that now would you??? He's still playing good defense. Almost everybody that started has had an offensive slump. I think he's done a lot more good than bad overall

He was pretty lousy against Cincinnati and Louisville.

That being said, it's always refreshing to play against someone you haven't seen all season, and for all the work we're going to do to build St. Joe's into a Final Four contender over the next couple days, I think he'll look more like the key contributor he's been for much of the season when they jump it up on Thursday. I expect them to look more like the team that rolled over Memphis than the team that looked scared of Louisville.

Kromah is in a slump. It happens. I still want him to defend Galloway and kill his confidence.

And he's played against Galloway and st. Joe's 5 or 6 times o he knows them/him pretty well.

We will definitely need his defense against galloway if he starts getting hot at 3. Not sold yet that Giff can check him but if need be im sure lasan can pressure him

Kromah has got to adjust his mindset. We don't need him to score when he's in the game. He's got to play the Rash Jones role here. I'm sick of him missing lay-ups, bricking jumpers and making late game TO's. Play D and take the occaisional open look. Period.

Most concerning are his turnovers. He can't seem to get the ball inbounded from the baseline and yet we still use him for all of those plays for some reason. It has led to stolen passes and transition points for the other team.

That being said, he has still been very solid on defense and need him in there for 20+ minutes a game on that end and just let the offensive part come to him like in the early part of the season where he exploited some holes to get to the rim.
