KML still got off 26 points. I think she was gassed down the stretch. She is no doubt an AA player and again she showed it tonight. I think its hard for a player to take over when getting off shots depends on the rest of the offense. When you don't have the ball in your hands, it is easy to get lost. That being said, I think she is not an area of concern for this team. 11 Dolson turnovers, missed free throws, lazy passes, and untimely TOs and fouls are what needs to be worked on. This team no doubt has the talent, they just lack the end of game awareness to pull off the close wins.

What happened to KML was you had three players on the court who were afraid to take a shot. In the OT's you saw a lot of standing around with Caroline having the ball. Got to run offense with all 5 players on the court.

How many times did the ND guards push the ball up the court and drive the ball to the basket even with UConn's defense set. Don't see UConn doing that.

ND has the better guards and even with Skylar graduating they may still have them next year. Moriah has to get more experience but she'll be the only true PG on the roster.

When other players are making shots, it will not make it easy for ND to always be aware of KML and where she is. We need to keep the ND defense busy with a multitude of options. What more do you the kid to do...she scored 26 points...she played her heart out on the defensive end...there was one player on our team tonight who played like a 1st team All American and it was KML.

ND defended UConn differently than Baylor. ND actually put more pressure on UConn's guards and made it very difficult to get the ball to Kaleena. Yes, ND guarded her pretty well, but there were times she was open and the pass just wasn't there because the guards were under so much duress esp without Dolson as the release valve.
