Just going over the players we'll have, what will we still need? In 2015 we will have:

Phil Nolan, Omar Calhoun, Rodney Purvis, Sam Cassell Jr, Terrence Samuel, Kentan Facey, Amida Brimah, Rakim Lubin, Daniel Hamilton, Jalen Adams, Willie Jackson + 2 more scholarships.

By position:
(Listed by the best fit position for each player. It was too much to list each possible player at each position)
PG: Terrence Samuel, Jalen Adams, Willie Jackson
SG: Rodney Purvis, Omar Calhoun, Sam Cassell Jr
SF: Daniel Hamilton
PF: Kentan Facey, Rakim Lubin (edit)
C: Amida Brimah, Phil Nolan

I would assume based on this that the staff is really looking to add:
Very athletic wing (Ray Smith or Derrick Jones)
PF/C that can stretch defense a bit (Steve Enoch or Chance Comanche)
and if we end up having a 3rd scholarship: a big time shooter. I'm still hoping Omar becomes that guy, but if not, it'd be nice to get a sg/sf that can really shoot (Bennie Boatright maybe?)

Given 2 or 3 scholarships in 2015 what do you think we will really need?

You forgot Lubin. But yes, I think what is needed most is a true SF and another big.

I would emphasize a BIG. We have guards could play the wing. Our PFs are not tested and our centers collect fouls quickly and haven't shown much offense yet.

By his junior year, Brimah will be very good offensively. Nevertheless, another 3 and another 5 would round out the roster nicely.

By 2015 I'm not sure where bigs would find time on the floor really. Our bigs will be well experienced and battle tested. Even if we got a 5* like a Stone it would be difficult for him to find playing time right away. Brimah will be the best shot blocker in college basketball by them with a good offensive game. Phil will be polished senior who will probably a great position defender and well experienced. I'm sure Facey will have come along well and Lubin is ready size wise and will continue to be good next year probably. It will be very hard to find time on these upcoming uconn teams with the talent it will have unless that talent blossoms earlier than we expect and leave. The only kids I could see doing that is Purvis, Hamilton, Facey, and Brimah though.

I've already said I expect Purvis to leave so the 2 spot would be open and then we would need a backup 3 to spell Hamilton. Jones would be perfect for that to come in with great energy and length. That backup role will let him develop for a year and while giving him a role where he can make a great impact with his current ability.

With this roster you posted , I really don't see any need for any added players in 2015 . Things could change if Purvis, Brimah or Hamilton could play there way into the draft next year. If that happens or if KO see's the possibility of that happening , then recruit according to need. It's the same as this upcoming season , we have enough to win it all. I just don't see all these 4-5 star recruits coming to Uconn to sit until someone leaves. With 2-3 star recruits that's expected.

I would like to see us sign a 6'7-6'9 4/3-4 hybrid athletic player who can step out and hit shots... in the DD mold.

With Jackson and Adams on board right now we need and want a wing and big.

IF Jackson decommits then we add a guard to the needs. We definitely want four recruits, maybe 5.
