What Did We Learn From The First Exhibition?

I have to give Lubbock Christian credit, they competed, even though they were over matched.
They started the game with a couple blocked shots/fouls. The experience will benefit this team
over the course of the season. They did a good job and I'm sure they enjoyed the experience of
competing at the XL Center against the @1 Div 1 team.

I agree 1000%!they made us work for our points. They were disciplined. They played exceptionally hard . Their fans were great! They are a regular powerhouse in their division 2 conferences, and I'm not surprised. They never just wilted. The first qtr we couldn't penetrate that zone- they were tough minded!

1. Kia looks great.
2. Why won't Geno play Saniya?
It seems to me that these are related. Could it be that Geno knows what he is doing?

UcMiami: "Morgan had a bit of a strange game, and did not play in the second half - hope it was just precautionary or the flu or something. Did some nice work down low with a couple of sweet shots and a couple of head scratchers."

I hope to god I am utterly and embarrassingly wrong, but I'm afraid it's something more. I was pleasantly surprised to see Morgan start the game and play Q1 WITHOUT THE KNEE BRACE But Morgan started Q2 wearing that damn knee brace played about 2 minutes with it on, then came out of the game and didn't play another minute I'm worried, and I will be until I hear that Morgan is okay.

After watch the other night , I expect KLS to remain the 5th starter, until Natalie returns. Even though KLS did not hit shots the other night, she has a great history of shooting in high school and Team USA. I also thought she showed ability to play better than advertised defense. Brianna will probably have to play more on the interior until Butler returns . I see Gabby as the spark off the bench and even though Saniya did not play, as the guard backing up both Mojeff and Kia.

What ever possessed you to think GENO knows what he is DOING???? The guy just stumbles around, speaks too often to noodnicks
and makes ignorant substitutions-- Why didn't he play, Butler, Saniya, and Tuck (more)??? Where did he learn to coach--at St Joe or UVa??
I guess if you really did you can find those easily won 10 championships, his 14 or more Big East Championships, way too many to count final fours. But to his credit he did win the AAC championship game and regular season. Some coach???
