And what attendance do you predict?

I think anywhere around 25,000 would be a respectable number.

I expect 21, 384 to be the actual number.

It's the home opener. Why are we struggling to get 25k. Right now I believe we're around 18k not seeing 25 at all

Northeast football. Our fans don’t want to see CCSU. They only want to see the name programs. It’s just the way it is. Our best chance of filling the Rent this season will be to win games and get the casual fan to feel like something special is brewing. We don’t have the most enticing home schedule this year. If we have a great season, we’ll see a big bump next year, as I believe we have a much sexier home schedule in 26’.

It is Labor Day Weekend, with many scheduling "end of Summer" festivities (last time going to the beach, boating, family reunion picnics).
On a better note, my daughter & son-in-law just ordered tickets for their family, so I get 3 of my grands at the tailgate!
Not to mention every high school football team im Connecticut has scrimmages all morning and afternoon. 2pm on this weekend is bad timing! A 7 pm game would have had a much easier time to attend after all morning and afternoon activities, but then again we do this every year lol haven't learned from our own mistakes.

I believe CBS Sports has something to say about regarding our start time.

Can’t make a guess unless you specify whether you’re asking to guess fans in the building or reported attendance. Because they are two totally different numbers.

Hopefully near 30k (tickets distributed). Local opponent and nice weather will help with sales at the end of the week.

I’ll be watching while at the beach but I think 25k is very ambitious. I think somewhere in the 16-18k region is a win.

We reportedly sold >30K last year vs Merrimack coming off a 3-9 season and a blowout loss the week prior. It better be around that number this year, regardless if accurate to the physical attendance.

Lol 30k. We have alot of work to do to get to that number! We're just shy of 19k as of today. Knowbody cares about this ccsu game. Deal with it. It is what is is. Bad game time, holiday weekend. Every high school football team has scrimmages a ll day! Just don't make this game an adventure and move on.

Seems every boneyard member will be watching this game on wax, a beach. Back yard BBQ. And say, hey we distributed 30k tickets lol omg embarrassing! Every d 1 team in the country week 1 is a hot ticket! We are buy 1 get 1 free!!!

FWIW, my phone says the weather next Saturday is partly cloudy with a high of 74. (Not worth much, really. It will say something different tomorrow.)
