I basically didn't miss a UConn game for like 20 years and watched almost zero last year, so I'm not really sure what our biggest needs are.

Here are my presuppositions:
1) Adams is coming back and going to be a beast!
2) We have 1-2 guys who don't come back from current roster
3) Love him and his game, but can't count on Alterique being healthy. Here's hoping this is wrong!

Here are my questions:
1) Did Vital make a jump? I loved him as a freshman but saw him as a 6th man, super sub, awesome glue guy.
2) Who is playing the 4? Whaley seems like glue guy super limited offensively but great effort guy.
3) I know basically nothing about how the freshman played, (I stayed off the 'Yard too).

So what do we need?
1) I have banged the drum for years that we need a stud SG that can shoot lights out. Cremo seems to fit bill, but there are a ton of 2s it seems out there.
2) PG for when Adams departs and to handle next year when he sits.
3) 4-man who has some bulk and skill

Would love the Washington kid from Minnesota if he follows Kimani, but who knows how likely.
I do think the staff needs to be ultra selective because they will kill it in 2019 I believe and don't need to tie up spots on projects. Grad transfer or two would make a lot of sense and a transfer that is a stud only (that sits out) seem to make sense, but I'd love to hear more ideas and I could be way off base here. I have a lot of faith in Hurley, he seems to be a grinder like JC and the Young hire seems like a Grand Slam.

Need shooters. Giffey & KEA will be fine.

1. Stud PG
2. Top shooting guard
3 a true 5 to battle Carlton
Luxury
Develop or recruit a stretch 4
We have a number if 3 and PF’s
Whaley, and Kwintin certainly bring something to the table but they're both tweeners. It sort of creates a log jam at the 3/4 for us. If one of Whaley/Kwintin/Cobb left I wouldn't be upset. In that case we'd have 4 spots and I'd shoot for 2 guards (1 lead guard, 1 combo guard - Lecque or Cremo - who can handle and shoot), a wing and a true big.

I want a combination of guards. A pure PG, A spot up shooter and a stud 2 guard.

A 3-pt shooter
A defender (big or small)
A rebounder.

We need Rashad, Adrien, and Giffey. Or, just Giffey.

We need a legitimate center, back-up PG/Jalen Adams understudy, and another legitimate center.

Shooters... great defenders... players that attack the glass on both ends of the court

2 guys who can shoot not concerned about their position but one guard and one swing is fine, either a PF or 5 rebounder

I personally would take2 guards. Definitely a PG, a guard who can shoot and maybe big who can defense inside and is over 6'9".

Aside from the point guard and shooting guard we need my wish list includes a good muscled power forward with a handle that can score off the dribble. Need not be taller than 6’7”. In fact all of our players need to be able to finish.

I'd love to just actually land some good recruits. This whole " follow the twitter, follow the follow, crystal ball, 100 thread
Odyssey" is annoying. We've been doing this
Commit/ decommit/ injury/ transfer dance for almost four years now.
