It seems 2022 will be the year of the concert for me. Unexpectedly I’m now going to this at Fenway on Friday. 7 hours. Thank God we are out on the field and not in those Zoolander school for ants sized seats. Free tickets…but now $300 for a hotel room and I’ll probably spend $150 on concessions over that time.

So I made3 it to the Big Blues Bender last weekend. It was in Vegas, so there's that. I gambled a lot more than I thought but did end up winning. The music was great. Little Feat sounded fantastic. I guess I was surprised when looking up their album sales and it was only a little over 3 million. Buddy Guy is 86 and talks more than he plays but he can still play. First vacation in 8 years. Felt a little weird going by myself, but what a lineup.

The Connecticut Sea Music Festival takes place this weekend, June 9, 10, and 11 in Essex, CT. If you are into folk music, sea chanties, and songs about the sea, among other things, this is certainly worth going to.
