What About Abraham?

Hurley wants to win. That’s it. Ross has a motor and can cut and defend, that’s why Hurley likes him over Stewart, who seems to be more of a pro style player and should be able to score and rebound. But the defense gotta be better.
We were comparing Ross and Abrahams. I know why Hurley likes Ross but he is barely giving anything on the court now unfortunately.

From what I understand, Ross is a kid who plays his heart out in practice every minute he's out there. He's a very good kid who sets a great tone culturally, and Hurley rewards it to show the rest of the guys it gets recognized. There is unquestionable value to that. Just think that once we get closer to March, minutes will be given to guys that give us the best chance to win. I think Hurley's quotes around him looking like a first round pick in practice were more about effort than anything, as looking to raise the practice makes perfect bar.

Hopefully Nowell returns next season.
He is a talent that I know. I am as high on him as I was with Hawk when he was a Jr in HS.
Why wouldn't he? He's our starting PG next year unless we find someone in the portal.

We have to remember that it's also important for IA and AN, and incoming classes, to see the coaches not give up on their recruits. If they are the high character kids that Hurley says he recruits, then they should appreciate that and see it as a positive to their own development and future.

Legit question. Do we know if AN is now 100% percent? Or does he have lingering issues with his shoulder? I may have missed an update if posted. I am aware of Danny's recent comments about his imminent return. Thx
I mentioned in another thread. I didn't go to the game because I was in Philly for a funeral. I listened to the game on the way back. They mentioned on the radio broadcast that is shoulder is still bothering him. They seemed to insinuate that was the reason he has not gotten any time. This whole thing has been bizarre. The day after he was injured it was said he would miss 2-3 weeks. Then the next game he was announced as a game time decision.

We are going to need a lot of garbage minutes to get IA minutes. We're talking up by 18 with 4 minutes to go and their best guys have fouled out.

I'm liking Jan 29th for that - home vs DePaul.
