Let's see: Cuse over UNC; NCState over the Terps. Then Duke escapes Miami by a single foul shot; and Purdue almost knocked out Penn State. As I write, Missouri is up by 13 over Vandy; and Miss State up by 5 over LSU.
Tenn beat Arkansas by only 10.
Must be a full moon.

Now add GA over Kentucky for another upset.

Where oh where has the "40 minutes of dread" gone?

Stanford led Cal by 30 with 13 mins to go in last night's game. Stanford held on to win 70-64.

Lot of shaking up and going down. After going 13-0 in OOC play, Arkansas has dropped out of the picture with a 2-6 run in the SEC. The Hogs could still get to 20 wins but will not get an NCAA bid. Iowa State is still listed as a #7 seed in Creme's Bracketology, but after opening at 14-0 and 3-0 in the B12, they've now lost 5 of the last 6 with the only win coming against lowly Texas Tech. Some question now whether the Cyclones will make the tourney, and Creme's seed better slide a ways back in the next update. They're still #21 in Sagarin somehow, mainly off wins over OK and Iowa, which really aren't that impressive now.

On the nice side, all three of next year's AAC adds for next year pulled out wins over the last two days, though East Carolina's squeaker over ODU was postponed from Wednesday to last night. The Pirates are now at (17-3, 5-2), while Tulane is at (15-5, 6-1) and Tulsa at (10-7, 4-2). Yeah, it's CUSA, and the teams are rated 90, 80, and 168 respectively by Sagarin, but it's a start, even if they just get some games in the NIT.
