1. That may be the greatest one line put down in the history of the board.
2. Edge of the cliff? Really? We are returning four upperclassmen who have friggin national championship rings. If we're on the edge of the cliff, 98% of the basketball world is already at the bottom looking up wondering how they get near where some are worried we may fall from. If anyone was smart enought to learn anything from last season, it's that chemistry has as much to do with winning as raw talent. We have enough raw talent to do fine if the chemistry and execution is better. If we have our coach uninterrupted, I'm not at all suprised if we have a better Big East season than we've had since '09.
Exactly, Thank you! Uh, who are Selden and Vonleh again?
Calhoun got healthy this year. That's big.
I'm shocked at the number of people on this board who think that Calhoun should step down now. It is likely that it will take awhile before we become a power again. I for one, am not ready to see him go. I would like to see a few more top 10 finishes nationally.Look at Uk, Zona, IU- all these programs lost big time coaches and it took a while for them to get back on top. UCONN fans are going to have to be patient- there is really no such thing as a quick transition when you lose a coach the caliber of JC.
It's not eh edge of a cliff but it is going to be a lot different very soon.
