So we go from running on fumes to running on high octane. We are there now because we got rest, got back to practices and Caroline and Azzi on back on the floor. Yesterdays game showed everybody how devastating UConn is at every position and with Caroline and Azzi UConn is almost unstoppable. Yeah it was Vermont but how many top teams struggled in the first round.
UConn has height
UConn has guards
UConn has players who can create their own shot
UConn has players who can score alot of points
UConn is very athletic
UConn is quick
UConn is playing right now with alot of confidence and thats key
UConn has it all
Think about this. We shot over 60% and Azzi wasnt herself. This team is on a mission. This team has everybody back. We need to get healthy and stay healthy. What we witnessed the past 4 games is almost unbelievable. We are so dominate on both sides of the ball and so dominate at every position. At every position we can lite it up. Our defense is suffocating and intimidating. I read that Baylor is a good 3 pt shooting team. UConn has Griff and Nika to handle that. Baylor will press UConn has Nika and Azzi and Geno to handle that and if UConn beats the press who defends UConns bigs?????
This is a complete team in all aspects and on both sides of the ball. There is no team that has what UConn has. The scorers, shooters and height and can operate on both sides of the ball like UConn is right now. SC Stanford Indiana are all great teams that have proven themselves but imo they are not UConn good right now. SC and Stanford have the bigs to compete with UConn but against UConn they will be challenged having to stop Dorka and Aaliyah and I dont think there are many teams that SC and Stanford have faced who have a Dorka and Aaliyah.
