Just got back to the hotel and for the life of me I still don't know 1) how we were winning and 2) WTF was Diaco thinking. My God this is a long way to come to go through that fourth quarter. Sherifs pass to no one for - 6, the onside kick, the imbecilic unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. His players were putting out for the guy and they were 7 behind with a bunch of time. Let the kids win or lose it.

And whats worse, by the time we got back there was no way to get a beer. Sidewalks are rolled up, bar is closed. On the plus side, the drive down to Provo with the scenery and the scenery at the stadium is just spectacular.
Oh well, I didn't expect to win this one and we are getting better. Maybe the next road trip will be a bowl game and we can have Diaco kidnapped at halftime.

On the plus side, almost all the beer is watered down to 3% or less. You get watered down Coors Light out there.

Tap beer has to be 3.4 I think or less. Surprisingly, some of the craft beers are really good, even at the lowered Alc. Level. Bottled beer is supposedly untouched. Probably better that I struck out with the beer. That game was a three-er at the least. On the plus side, their seats filled late like ours, and their chair backs were really late filling up and had quite a few missing persons. Place was loud as hell.

Home sweet home tomorrow.

Not sure if this goes with the credits or debits, but in spite of the watered down beer, Salt Lake City had the largest population of falling-down drunks decorating its streets of any city I've ever visited.

Strangely enough, Hop Nosh IPA is from Uinta in Utah and is really good. I don't know if you can get if full strength there, but its available in CT.

I enjoyed the Uinta Cutthroat.

You are not kidding. There are a LOT of people sleeping on the streets here. In a city pretty much run by a religious organization who makes its members go on missions to help the poor, it seems odd that they would not do a better job at HQ

This entire area seems like an awful place to live. <3.4%ABV? What the holy hell. Im sure its beautiful to drive through.

Literally one bar in Provo was open past 11. The only place to get (sh-tty as hell) coffee I could find the next morning was ar McDonald's.

Disgrace of a town if you ask me

People seemed nice enough at least though
