But I'm watching this game. It's the Flint, Michigan Mega Bowl of college basketball.

Rutgers - 0-17 in conference. Perhaps the worst major college basketball team in a generation. A program that was always a punchline has produced its master piece. The coach cleaned out his desk two years ago and is more amazed than you are that he's still employed.

Minnesota - 2-15 in conference, largely thanks to a win over Rutgers. They'll start a walk on tomorrow and will have five scholarship players in uniform. Three players are suspended because of a tape involving a rotisserie of sorts* posted to social media. Given that the team is coached by a Pitino, the only surprised is that Richard Pitino isn't on the tape.

The game is on BTN at 1 tomorrow. Might be the end of that network.

Why not have Rutgers and BS College play a national unchampionship game to see which is the absolute worst major conference team in America? The loser wins the unchampionship title. It would be fun to watch two awful teams trying to lose the game.

He was an NBA player, I don't know his previous coaching background.

I'm still trying to figure out how Rutty pulled out their game against Indiana last October. Imagine how compelling it would be if Rutgers & BC were locked in a race towards such a level of ineptitude.

When you consider that Rutgers has accomplished what they have in a state that actually produces basketball talent BC isn't in the same league.

He coached the Washington Wizards for a few years. They were actually a decent team with Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison. They made the playoffs 3 straight years but lost Lebron and the Cavs each year. After the gun incident with Arenas the team fell apart and he was fired.

The loser should have to play in a high school league next year. But the Rutbois will be under intense pressure since the Beagles have already made history by going 0 for the ACC. Pressure is on Rutgers. Will the fall to the occasion?

Aw, c'mon now. We only suck by our own lofty standards. BS College and Rutgers suck in an epic, all-encompassing, cosmic, existential sense, even when you consider their usual diminished expectations.
