Well, sort of. The AAC will be taking the blame for that into eternity.

What do you mean? It was non conference road game for you guys. What would the conference have to do with that? But yeah, I fell asleep trying to watch your game. An east coast team shouldn't be out there for a game like that. That was torture.

That Carr kid is the real deal. Who is that James RB you had and what happened to Huggings?

It was known for a long time. But it's one of those things where you can know about it but until it happens you don't know how young kids are going to react to it. It seems like our kids didn't show many signs if any of being tired so that's good.

Not an excuse for our players but as a fan man was that hard to stay up for.

Tough loss but a lot of optimism from it. Hate moral victories but I feel better after that loss than after our win against Tulane last year.

Carr is the real deal. And god I HOPE there is a gif somewhere of him jumping up and down flailing his arms to call an audible, hilarious.

Paul James is a back up who has always looked good in practice but then always would hurt himself.

Huggins is just not looking all that good. Great kid and has some talent but it doesn't always show itself.

If there can ever be a "good loss" last nights RU loss showed a lot of O improvement and young talent but some of the youth esp WR Leonte Caroo,Kr/PR Janarious Grant(yeah I saw the muff) and CB Ian Thomas are going places and bode well for the future! Before the game I didn't think FSU deserved their top 25 ranking but I think they have a shot at unseating Boise in the MWC this year.Crappy local start for FB last night though all around!

Dude, you have no idea what crappy is. For once you are allowed to not lump Rutgers in with UConn.

Why would I have too?We all know but even UMich loses some WTF games..don't blame me for your bitterness...heck we all lose some but I don't take glee or feel the need to remind them!If other's observations bug ya..find a more pleasent hobby! You think Im all giddy and cheerful after staying up till 3AM to lose a 52-51 game by a Pt in OT?You don't see me blaming anybody else? Its not easy watching all these openers after a loss!!UConns brand is too strong for a little ding to damage anything....have patience guy!

No team losing will make me feel better about us getting our asses handed to us by an FCS team....at home...by multiple scores.

I'm with you man. It's now 2 days later, the hangover is gone - I was completely cocked on Thursday night. Had such a great time tailgating and getting into the stadium and then just kept pounding like I was 21 again to make the pain go away. I was a sad sack of shiite on Friday. I don't know how people can live drinking like that. I don't know how I did it when I was that age. Whatever.

Now I'm just getting more and more pissed off each time I let my mind wander to this, and I'm really angry with where this program is at right now. This season, this season I"ve had circled on my calendar so to speak for YEARS.

I don't give a rat's ass about any other team playing football right now, or anywhere anytime else except these UCONN huskies. I want heads on platters, and if they aren't maryland terrapin heads on platters, then they will be our coaching staff's heads on platters.

As far as I"m concerned these coaches - ALL OF THEM are on one week contracts. THis program needs to get our *T in gear, or get a full enema. To approach and build for this season, which everyone knew has been coming for years, and produce they way they did Thursday ngiht?

It will drive a guy to drink. Lots of whiskey from the flasks.

There is absolutely no way, no how, that game on Thursday night is acceptable. That cannot happen again. In my hungover blaze, I was concerned about what firing a coaching staff may do to this program, but right now - I'm clear headed, and I fully understand that Warde Manuel's job is what's really in question now - because his list of replacements, better be ready to go at a moment's notice, and if he's got a plan that he thinks is better right now, there's no reason not to pull the trigger.

So - the question is - who is on the short list, and NO - this isn't a f)))KIng question the media should be asking, the first media jackass that gets in manuel's face and asks who is on his replacement list should be drawn and quartered.

A media following that actually gives a crap aobut sustaining the interest in the program, which therefore sustains themselves, is going to do everything they possibly can to support the players on this team, and provide positive feedback for those young men that are out there on the field putting everythign they've got into trying to make this work.

We need leadership right now, and leadership involves making hard choices.
