I've definitely known small-town teenagers who would push a mascot to the ground. Not a "oh god Hartford is so dangerous" thing.

The Yard Goats should tie into that somehow. Like really hard hit line drives show up on the "Scoreboard Shot Spotter" and they play gunshot sounds on the PA system.
