I was thinking as our Lt. Govenor enthusiastically greeted the team at Bradley that Gov. Danel hasn't been much of a fan.

Perhaps he was at Storrs or Bridgeport but I didn't see him pictured or mentioned although I did see Gov. Christie of NJ there cheering for his Alma, Delaware. Was he in attendance? Often Governors have a little side bet on the outcome of say a gallon of Kentucky moonshine vs. some Ct. NE Chowder.

I do believe Governor Malloy had a bet with Governor Beshear of Kentucky. He's been to a few different men's & women's basketball games this season.

Actually, they did have a wager:

(HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy has once again placed a friendly wager with Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear on the women’s NCAA championship basketball game taking place in New Orleans tomorrow night. The Governor bet a basket of CT Grown products against Governor Beshear’s Kentucky country ham that the UConn women will emerge victorious over the Lady Cardinals.

Malloy was in N.O. I think I read he addressed the team sometime before the game. Doesn't quite compare with Rick Pitino addressing the Louisville team however.

He was shaking hands with Breanna Stewart and telling her good job before the trophy presentation. I saw him, Susan Herbst, and the AD on stage as well during the trophy presentation.
