Welcome back, Bria | The Boneyard

Welcome back, Bria

Bria played well for the Sun in prior to her ACL in her last Sun stint. She made the opening day roster this season but her spot is not secured yet. 2024 #10 draft pick Leila Lacan from the French National squad is supposed to report at some point, and that will require one guard to be cut. Hoping Bria is crushing it in practice and that she is able to stick.

Bria appears to have made the roster. Yay!
As discussed above, making the opening day roster is just the first challenge. When Lacan shows up someone needs to be inactivated to make room.

I'm assuming Lacan's going to report an not be the French version of Alba Torrens.

Opportunity to re.-calibrate the Hartley Unit of Measure - she may have shrunk a little since the day
Please note that Bria's seven-year-old son, Bryson Hartley, will likely be with her in Connecticut while she's with the Sun this season. Perhaps this is a chance to develop a more sophisticated measurement system featuring both full and partial Hartley Units.

Geno: How tall is that recruit?
CD: She's a full Bria plus one-eighth Bryson.

:)
