I remember Economics 1 when the instructor explained the law of diminishing returns. I'm starting to apply that term to sports in general. I've already lost interest in baseball (swing for the fences every time and throw 100 mph, forget singles and change-up's) and basketball (dunk it, dunk it, dunk it). College football has shrunk to a level we've never seen before. With the new guidelines the powerhouses no longer have to cheat, they can arrange to pay the players they want and watch the weaker teams get weaker. The All Star game was and will continue to be a joke in every sport. It's just another money grab by greedy owners who are aided and abated by overzealous fans.

Breanna's comments regarding the level of competition. There have been several articles written about how this season's schedule doesn't allow much time between games this season. Considering the number of all-stars out due to injury, it could be a factor.

I had zero issue with the 4-point shot. It added a nice twist to the game. Players that normally don't get to shoot those long-range shots, got the chance to launch away and it was nice to see players reactions on their makes or misses. Iriafen launched an air ball but her facial expression after the miss was priceless and her teammates and the crowd were giving her positive but joking feedback. It was all about fun and the 4-pointer added another layer of fun to the mix. I had to laugh at the amount of 3 & 4 point attempts. 120 attempts from 3- & 4-point land.
