Syracuse bolsters their NIT resume with a plucky two point win over Louisville.
Can you blame him for not really paying much attention to these two teams? He’s used to watching UConn play. He's also misidentified the entire Syracuse roster the last few minutes. I have no idea what he's watching
Watching Pitt/NCSt. One of the more humorous battles all night has been 6'11" 225lb Federiko Federiko vs 6'9" 275lb DJ Burns. Burns has been backing down FF at will, but FF winning the rebound battle. I'd feel confident in saying Burns sweats more than anyone in D1 hoops (and probably more than even Connor Williams).
Pitt blew a 13 pt 2nd half lead, but was deadly from FT line (18-20) and comes away with a 3pt win. Strange as it sounds, they may work themselves onto the bubble. Capel deserves credit for recognizing what he's got and switching to a 3 guard lineup with Carrington, Lowe and Leggett, even though the first two are frosh. They've won 5 of 6, with 3 road wins, including @Cameron.
No freakin way.Yes and the narrative was that there is no bottom of the big 10 cause all the teams are so good.
I didn't have a rooting interest in that game, but I was flabbergasted with that.endingLmao Nova didn't even get a shot off.
Lol. I love that Syracuse is still plucky after all of these years.Syracuse bolsters their NIT resume with a plucky two point win over Louisville.
You would have been "PJ Carlesimo'd" during summer workouts@BigErnMcCracken I am very confident that I would be able to coach this Villanova team while blindfolded to a better record than 12-11.
Been saying it since before the season started. I just don’t see it with that team. Nembhard and Kaluma were pretty big losses and I don’t see how they replaced those guys.I remain completely unimpressed by this Creighton team. Greg is a great coach, but man this roster construction is tough. They have 3 players, a shooter only stick in Miller, and two uninspiring PGs.
The sequence I was referring to if you didn't see the game. Louisville didn't get screwed because the ref shouldn't have blown the whistle and Cuse had the putback, but it's wild that the refs can uphold an incorrect call after replay because they screwed up.Wow, I know both Louisville and Cuse are going nowhere but the refs just botched the end of this game something crazy and the announcing crew is completely oblivious.
- Louisville comes down and ties the game on a 3 with like 6 secs left.
- Louisville is caught napping after the make and Cuse busts it down court for a layup but Louisville recovers and gets a clean block
- The refs call goaltend on the block but Cuse catches the blocked layup off the glass for a putback
- The refs review the goaltend on the monitor but upheld the goaltend because they knew if they overturned it it wiped off the putback by Cuse, so Cuse wins
Looks like they brought the bigger pillow tonight.Lol. I love that Syracuse is still plucky after all of these years.

Did they think the ball started to go over the cylinder? Did the broadcast explain it?
Refs knew they screwed up so instead of going by clear video evidence they decided to go by "spirit of the law"(my interpretation). Broadcast was useless and clueless, Seth Greenberg was on color commentary and he was confused why Cuse was attempting to score because he thought they were ahead and not tied.Did they think the ball started to go over the cylinder? Did the broadcast explain it?
What are the rumors? If the rumors about Kadary Richmond's "injury" are true, that could tear a team apart.
He fiegns injury every game. He's a drama queen.Uh oh. Carter hurt the same hip he hurt at Gampel last week.
I love his energy. It reminds me of Gus Johnson, LOLWatching Creighton/Providence. Dave Sims needs a tranquilizer.
Yeah you are right now that Think about itHe fiegns injury every game. He's a drama queen.
So technically they should have reversed the call, dead ball, and it goes by the possession arrow? They should have let them decide it in OT so both fan bases would be forced to endure this mess. The sequence I was referring to if you didn't see the game.
