Wake goes down to Tech. Huge for the Big East bubblers. Wake now only has 3 wins away from home @#92 Boston College, N-149 Towson, and @130 Georgia Tech. Major blight on their resume.
Meanwhile Pitt annihilated BC @Conte by 25. That gives Pitt an 8-5 record away from home (7-4 in true road games). Pitt is also 3-6 vs Q1 and 5-8 vs combined Q1/Q2. Wake is now 1-6 vs Q1 and a combined 6-11 vs Q1/Q2.

86 possessions in regulation lmao. Games are normally 60-70, quicker paced games in low to mid 70s. 86 is wild.

111 in 86 is like 83 in 65. So it's not necessarily that their offense/defense is that good or bad, it's that they play so crazy fast that both teams are just getting a ton of shots up.

The over/under in this game was like 170 and they hit 190. Kentucky overs are a money factory if the opposing team has any interest in running.
Nice math….:they hit 213

2 minutes ago, Georgetown was up 10. Now it's a 2 point game

.-.
Something really has to be done about officiating - with 4 minutes to go Georgetown/Butler has 41 fouls called. In the Marquette/Creighton game there were a total of 19.

There's no way there is that much difference between the two games.

Not sure what the solution is, but something has to change.

Desmond Claude is on a 10-2 run down the stretch. Xavier up 4 with 2 and a half minutes left. Claude has 36 points

40 FTs for Xavier tonight. Didn't watch until about the last 6-7 minutes so can't say if they were good calls or not, but X is in a good spot to close out the comeback

.-.
Houston and Purdue both up 10 ish in 2nd half, so looks like we're not moving up this week.

New Mexico getting beat pretty good on the road. I love their talent, but they've just lost a ton of games. I don't know if they make it.

Gotta give Marquette a ton of credit. On the road against Creighton without Oso and the illiterate kid, and they are only down two at halftime.
I just saw the highlights. Marquette put up a valiant effort missing arguably there two best players.
Why are you calling Kolek the illiterate kid? I am genuinely asking.

I could definitely see Creighton making the Final Four.
Same. Any of their top-four can carry the team as they’ve gotten a new extra year with Ashworth playing more consistently. Balanced O and D too.

Boneyard curse almost worked.

Someone said it once and everyone just ran with it. Just one of those random viral meme heckles. There's no basis of truth. I think it started because Marquette posted their guys with 3.5 GPAs and it was everyone on the team except Kolek.

Houston escapes Oklahoma with a victory thanks to Jamal Shear’s last-second follow-up to his own miss. Even Oklahoma’s mascot was shocked.

Houston wins on last second put back by Shead. Number 0 couldn’t pick up loose ball, giving Shead the gift free ball

This about covers it

See spot run

Edit: it won’t let me link it

It’s hilarious that the Marquette compliance officer fell for it.

BYU was down 17 at the half to TCU but they're now up 10 with 3:30 left.
