If I were a CBB coach, I work to get kids to run towards or into a coach on the court. In that play, keep going sideline. Force Shaka to move awkwardly and draw attention for the ref to make a call. He should get a tech, and two shots and the ball is the best thing for you.

Easier said than done in the heat of a game, and a bit of a gamble, I know. Probably better when you're up than playing from behind.
If it was Danny no need to run the play he'd been T'd already

Some interesting games today.

New Mexico vs Colorado State. Both 12-1. CSU is ranked 14.
Northwestern vs Illinois. Are Illini for real?
UNC with a not easy road game at Pitt. Likewise, Purdue at Maryland.

Duke looks so slow defensively against Cuse but Cuse is not finishing at the rim and making some really dumb plays/passes. If Cuse didn’t have about 4 unforced TOs and made their layups they would be up ten.

For any bettors out there, St Johns is -7.5 against Butler right now

It’s a home game but that feels…aggressive
This is why I don’t bet :)

Is St Johns legit? Or is Butler not legit?

Butler couldn't keep Johhnies off the glass. St. John's is definitely better with Luis.

St. Johns and Butler are two teams that will likely finish within a game of .500 in the Big East. They are what they are. The fact that St. Johns won the home game between two evenly matched teams is not particularly surprising, nor would it be surprising if Butler wins when they play in Indianapolis.

Just noticed that PC plays its third home game in a row to open BE season, it will catch up to them later, but I doubt any other team has done this.

I haven’t watched a lot of Providence this year, and it’s only been 8 minutes of this one, but am I the only one that sees a little bit of Sanogo’s game in Josh Oduro?

He is not as good as Sanogo, but I like Oduro. There are a lot of good centers in the Big East.

I think this Seton Hall team is the definition of mediocrity. I am surprised PC is down 5 with 16 left.

Bryce Hopkins screaming in pain, holding his knee.. not good..

Carter gonna have to put whole team on his back.

Josh Oduro looks softer than the pillsbury dough boy. Just went flying after a drive from Addae Wusu. Falls down again next play. We will have a huge advantage at C against him

From X. Does not seem great.

Hate to see that. Unlucky step that potentially turned into a serious injury. Hopefully he is back soon.

We’re all watching the same Oduro play right? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Like Sanogo? He’s not even Samson-lite

I think it’s because he plays below the rim.

he was looking more Sanogo-like when he was 5-5 and looking unstoppable. Not so much after he started missing every layup :)

What a mess. Refs miss an obvious travel by Seton Hall receiving pass under basket and then have to reverse call even after Floyd Jr tackles Seton Hall player since AH touched it last.
