So what looks interesting.... Can Kansas State go on the road to WV? Indiana at Rutgers will get some attention around here.... Northwestern visiting Iowa is interesting given NW's surprise week one offensive performance. Not many good games involving ranked schools this week. Most of the ranked schools seem to have easy games.

Cincinnati is at the point of losing their head coach again. They're probably one of the best at hiring head coaches over the last 20 years

What a crazy game with Maryland coming back down 17 in the 4th quarter to bring it to over time and win when MN misses the extra point. Taulia Tagovailoa lead the come back win. First team in 71 games this season to be down by 17 entering the 4th quarter and come back to win.

Maryland was an 18pt dog in this game.

Fickell has already turned down an offer from Michigan State, his contract at UC has been extended, his salary raised, and his buyout increased. I'd expect him to stay in Cincy until there's a HC opening at Ohio State -- not likely in the near term.

Cincinnati looks like a really really good team. I wonder how they'll fair against the big programs.

MSU is a hot mess from what Dantonio left. Its a smart move because there will lie better programs coming calling this year or next

Boston College's hire of last year is looking pretty good today. They actually throw the ball downfield.

Virginia coach knew a punt was a loss, goes for the win.

Plus, i think his oldest son is committed to play for Cincy next year. The only jobs i think he will/would leave for right now are Osu and Nd. He can be choosy and win every year. They may be better next year than this year with as many young guys and his recruits. Former Huskie after that game:

“That’s the mindset that we all have,” senior linebacker Darrian Beavers said. “We’re all greedy, that’s what coach is really hitting on. We don’t want the offense to get a yard.”

The AAC, Liberty and BYU have made a lot of headway navigating COVID and catapulting it’s teams into the fray. With Alabama, Clemson and OSU ahead and ND or Clemson or Georgia at one loss, Cincy looks like it will be relegated to 5, assuming they win out. Not sure what happens with the Playoffs given that it you can’t treat all teams equal that only play a few games (i.e., Oregon with no games at 12 and Wisconsin at 1-0 at 10).

This is the thing that will be most interesting this year. They used to talk about “the 13th game” (conf champ). Now it is going to be how do you compare an 11-0 BYU or Cincy against a 7-0 big 10 team who lost games to COVID.
