I appreciate the 31-22 line for clemson cuse. Took cuse to cover at +14. Given the NC State outcomes for each j was surprised it came out so wide and actually got wider (perhaps that’s why I’m not a bookie).

Cuse beat NC State without NC State's starting QB. Clemson had to face him.

For you night owls, there's a top-10 FCS matchup on ESPN2 tonight at 11 PM:

#7 Montana visiting their Big Sky rival #2 Sacramento State.

Montana's starting QB is Lucas Johnson, a 6'3 215 former Georgia Tech commit and transfer from San Diego State whose got a decent arm and is a physical runner.

The Griz are a hard-hitting, physical team led by senior safety Robbie Hauck, who broke Montana's all-time tackle record earlier this season and is just 55 tackles away from breaking the Big Sky Conference record.

Go Griz!

One of the announcers doing the Cuse @ Clemson game made a comment "This is the Oranges first true road test of the year"

I will always hate BCU, and laughing at Rutgers in all sports is a lot of fun, but it would help UConn if there were some decent northeastern football programs. I generally root for Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

The Syracuse QB might be a top Heisman candidate by end of the day. Heck of a player.

The Clemson QB is a critical mistake machine.

Syracuse lead was fun while it lasted. Clemson is so much more talented, this second half should not be close.

Not when Clemson can't hold onto the ball or pass to the own team.

This sport has to take officiating away from the conferences. There was just a no call on a late hit on Schroeder that was more violent and further after the end of the play than either of the penalties on Syracuse on the last drive. The refs know who the conference wants to win, and that team will get most of the close calls.

Clemson-Syracuse was amazing game. It gives UConn an idea how strong that they would have to be to beat either of those teams.

Look at penalty count in Cincinnati vs SMU. The refs did all they could to help SMU.

Alabama had more penalties in the Tennessee game (17) @ Knoxville than they have had in 100 years...The Vols had 6.

Refs ?, Bone headedness? I think bone headed play but a Bama fan might see that unbalanced penalty count as something suspicious.

Dartmouth edged Columbia with field goal with four seconds left. Score 27 to 24. Heartbreaking loss for the Lions.

Fall in Bozeman, MT is starting to look kinda wintery. Around halftime it was 40 degrees with some rain that reportedly was looking a bit slushy. FCS #3 Montana St. vs. #5 Weber St. WILD game. Weber St. jumped out to a 24-9 lead, but MSU came storming back w/ 34 straight points. Weber St. has badly muffed the snap on a punt attempt that led to a safety FOUR times, that's a new FCS record. 3 in the first half and another just into Q3. Weber St. just got a TD and 2 point conversion to make it 43-32 at the end of Q3, game isn't over yet.
