Arkansas should inch their way back into the polls this week with pretty decisive road wins over Kentucky and Mizzou. SayPoff with a career high 24 in the Mizzou game, plus she held Hayley Frank to just 5 pts.

VPI is right there with North Carolina for being seriously underwhelming this season, based on what they had coming back and how they did last year.
They are missing Owusu big time.

One thing I've noticed hasn't been mentioned is the injury to Soares during the ISU-Oklahoma game. Only saw the replay when they were showing highlights. It looked like she pulled something and that is was due to contact, like an ankle rollover. Did anyone see the game live to provide insight?

Thank you Tar Heels for showing me that not all ACC teams are worthy of my derision.

Weird day. A lot of top teams struggling to put away mediocre squads. The top 3 all struggled against teams they shouldn't (though Illinois is a lot tougher than expected), Notre Dame lost an ugly game to North Carolina, Virginia Tech lost too. UCLA almost lost to USC. I think a lot of teams are probably hitting their wall right now being 2 months into the year and they still have 2 to go.

Best game of the day was OU/Iowa State. Very back and forth late with big plays by both teams. Fun ending, happy to see Oklahoma get the win.

Read a few comments on social media that it was a non-contact injury to left knee but haven't seen anything else yet.

Thanks and oh dear. It's noted that's her knee. Hopefully the updates aren't as bad as feared per the article.

There are no top 25 games today so I will post the remaining games of the week later tonight after the polls come out at 1 PM
