Should see a slight bump up in the polls this week since a couple teams ahead of us lost, and no one behind us had a big enough win to jump us

A couple notable early rankings before the AP poll drops today

CBS Top 25 & 1: #15 (NC)
Jon Rothstein: #14 (+1)
Seth Davis: #17 (+2)

Other AP Voters:
Clayton Collier: #21 (+1)
Dave Borges: #18 (NC)

Prediction: #16

Haven't been able to find more ballots on twitter just yet. Will keep updating as they come out.
(NC) = no change from their ballot last week.

The first NET rankings come out today.
CBS has an ongoing NET rankings - I'm not sure if it's the same formula that the NCAA uses but it has UConn at #33. It has Oregon (who just lost to a horrible ASU team, and they suck) at #24. It also has the soon-to-be new #1 Purdue at #29. So whatever the NET says this early in the season is not even worth looking at. It means less than nothing lol

Right, it's only our baseline for the 1 ranking that actually matters. Why would that be important.

CBS's NET is from last year, it hasn't been updated since the NCAA just released it today

Here is the BE so far in NET. The NET will move drastically in the first few weeks... let's hope some of the bottom teams do something yet during the non-con so they don't weigh the conference down. With UConn sitting in the teens, if there's even one slip up (even a win that is close) that 13 could slip far and fast after one game to them.

15!

I know we’re all cagey given the injuries and inconsistencies, but there’s a clear path to a top-four seed in front of us.

Huge week ahead of us, looking what we can do against a solid power 5 team on the road especially with 2 of our starters out. If we can come away 2-0 that will be a great week

Man, lots of separation from us and 14. Seems fair though for now. Just gotta keep winning.

You can tell how perilous these rankings are early in the season.

We and St. John's are both 6-0 against cupcakes.

The difference is that we have 2 narrow Q1/Q2 wins, and they have 2 losses. Had we lost those games (granted, yes, if we lose vs. Auburn we have different opponents, butterfly effect, etc.), we'd be closer to 100 than to 10.
