Small slate of games today, with one top 25 matchup. Tomorrow features three t25 games:

The big one today is at Rolle Activity Center on the campus of Northern Arizona University with a noon (MST) tip. For those with ESPN Plus you can watch the stream. NAU is evidently ranked 9th in the mid major rankings.

This should be a high scoring affair as Oral Roberts has topped 90 points in three of their five victories. NAU has 101, 92 (against the kitties) and 87 as their top three scores in their seven victories. Neither team places an emphasis on defense so this should be an offensive treat.

Speaking of the kitties I'm headed down the 17 tomorrow to watch the Grand Canyon antelopes take on the task of Barnes, Cunningham, and a rocking crowd. That's a 6:00 p.m. tip you can stream on ESPN Plus.

I'm not sure if they're still running the 30% off deal but I'm really glad I did spring for a hundred bucks to pay for ESPN Plus. Through March I'm going to have access to multiple games per day from the comfort of my Flagstaff living room.

Go Jacks!

Favored according to whom? ESPN Analytics has GT at 51.7%

NC St really needs this win tomorrow but Ole Miss is super physical team.

49-43 Oral Roberts leading at the half. I've actually been impressed with the Golden Eagles....very active and aggressive on defense (11 steals) and they are shredding the Jacks with hard cutting in the paint.

Coach Payne may be regretting the emphasis (or lack of) she places on defense.

Without greater interior defense the Jacks are staring at a home loss.

Sophie Glancy played sparingly, wonder if she is battling coil/flu?

It's school day at Rolle and my ears hurt.

Altitude may have caught up with the girls from Oklahoma....Jacks outscore Wheezing Eagles 32-8 in the 3rd quarter to take command and head to the 4th with a 19 point lead.

I am surprised you guys are surprised. It is more of a surprise Georgia tech is good this year than it is Mississippi state.

But. One thing I will concede. Ga Tech is definitely more battle tested so far this year.

Some surprisingly non competitive games going on currently. Louisville is turning Oklahoma inside out just before halftime.

To be fair, the lead should be larger considering the 18 turnovers and players on the bench due to fouls.

And now since you mentioned the game, it's likely going to light a fire under Oklahoma and they'll be firing on all cylinders to start the third. ;)

I am pretty pleased to see Verhulst have a good game for Oklahoma in a victory over her former team Louisville.

I think she represents a big mistake by Walz. And so this is very fitting to me.

I still got it! I didn't really have a strong rooting interest in this game though, I guess my jinx powers work even if I don't care who wins.

Great.........during a game where Merrisah Russell, a Canadian I root for, has a great game on both ends of the court. Just my luck. :(

Okay, here's my hot pick "somebody has to win" game of the day. Syracuse vs. Texas A&M. Both come in at 4-4 and a steaming hot plate of meh so far this year.

Tennessee’s offense is truly something. SEC play can’t come fast enough, as I’m eager to see how it looks against real defenses like Ole Miss, South Carolina and Texas.

How about under the radar grudge match of the day--Pitt vs. Duquesne, a little cross town rivalry. Maybe @triaddukefan will let us throw out the record book for this one! 1 point game going into Q4.

Good prediction!!! The Sooners outscored the Cardinals 49-31 in the second half to win 78-72.
