Week 4 - Nov 24-30

An absolutely fantastic interview of Coaches Staley, Close, and Schaefer that occurred during the Players Era tournament:

Matt and Jack are doing some great work with "All the Smoke" and there sit down with the coaches was excellent.

WashSt lost by

8 to Stanford
17 to Mizzou
27 to Oregon

70+ to LSU
Painful the think we're 11 points worst than Mizzou, but when the shoe fits I guess I need to get comfortable wearing it... (and to think, in our "lost" season last year we took LSU to overtime in Baton Rouge!)

Today's update with a few t25 teams added. Seven undefeated play today.

Ole Miss beat Wisconsin by 9 on Friday. Gut feeling is that Ole Miss should have won by more but didn't impose their will like they should have.

I think you're right. James Madison beat Wisconsin by19 yesterday.

Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this, so here goes regardless....
The #1UConn vs. Xavier game replay is scheduled to be on FS2 at 7PM tonight.

Gonzaga got a much needed win against Marquette 65-61. Lauren Whittaker is having herself a nice season so far. It's pretty much her and Allie Turner carrying the offense, they need more help.

They are about a half step better or worse than Flohoops. It all depends on your perspective.
I'd go with just a bad or worse than Flohoops. I've never had a great experience using their platform.

Iowa and Jan Jensen are known for developing post players as well as anyone in the country; scary to think about what Ava Heiden might look like with 2.5 seasons left. Has better physical tools and range than Monika Czinano did and Czinano was often unstoppable offensively.

Okay Michigan fans, or Big 10 fans in general--what's your take on Yulia Grabovskaia? She's a token starter for Washington this year. Plays about 12 minutes per game. Fr. McGaughy is getting more minutes but coming off the bench. Coach Langley is pretty committed to only playing 1 post player at a time, she even goes 5 guards sometimes. Anyway I see Grabovskaia didn't put up much in the way of stats last year and she's doing the same this year. Does she add some value that doesn't show up in the stat sheet?

As an aside, despite standing 6-5 she has 1 blocked shot thru 7 games. Little used deep reserve Olivia Anderson has 10 blocks in 5 games.
