Cignetti's buyout to leave of his own accord is the least of Alabama's worries. It was $13M last year and goes down annually. They'd have to payout deBoer $63M if they fire him after this season.

DeBoer is probably going to be under fire for a couple more years, at least.
But good point about Indiana trying to sign him to an extension after this year.

And duh I completely forgot about Florida. There are probably only about 5-10 schools with the resources to poach from a P2 school. The Gators are one, and they are likely to be in the market soon. Though Napier also has a big buyout.

Indiana just renegotiated during last year (which doesn't mean they won't have to renegotiate again), his deal went from 85% to 100% guaranteed when the Hoosiers reached the playoff last year. He's on an 8 year, $8M per deal now (as noted by BigTenFan) that started last year (it was signed in November and back-dated to replace the old deal); his original deal was at $4.5M per.

And yet for most of that game he was abolutely crap against us.

Doesn't matter, he was effective when the game mattered. Decent/good teams find a way to win at the end... we cannot say that applies to us.
