I don't know. I kinda don't like how a terrible team can completely spoil a good team's season in 1 night, making the previous 3 months irrelevant, in these conference tournies. 5-15 in the MVC Evansville took out 16-4 Belmont in a quarterfinal. There's been lots of wacky stuff like that happening in these mid majors.

Harvard beat Columbia, will meet Princeton in the Ivy Championship.

Big West Championship will be UC San Diego vs. Hawaii.

The wacky WAC Championship will pit Cal Baptist against Abilene Christian.

Ima need a ruling from @triaddukefan about the ramifications of this matchup. I don't know what denomination Abilene Christian is.

Hope third time is the charm for Hawaii as they've lost both meetings to the Tritons this season.

Well, a happy Saturday to all you hoop fans! Yesterday's slate was full of upsets, and now we are at the penultimate day of conference play. Out of today's 12 games, two semis and two finals feature top seeds that aren't #1.

11-21 Hofstra and 10-24 Evansville advanced to the Championship of their respective conferences. I am rooting HARD for both to lose, these are teams that clearly do not belong in the Tourney. Anyone who is opposed to mediocre teams from P4 conferences getting in should be appalled by the thought of bad teams from lesser conferences getting a bid.

Louisiana Tech hasn't been to the Tourney since 2011. They were 17-1 in CUSA this year and 26-5 overall. Thought this might be their year. They are down 3 in the closing seconds of the their conference championship game against Missouri St.
