Ohio at in beeeg trouble. Down 18 to Hoosiers entering the 4th

Duke has comeback to tie Lou

SC like UConn got it in gear in the 3rd
Louisville now back from the dead.

tOSU string of escaping close games w Minn and Iowa, ends in loss at Indiana. Another potential #8 losing.

Aneesah out tonight vs Georgia
LSU's terrible coach just rolls with her 5spot platoon starting at 4/5 with the versatile Mikaylah Williams in reserve, and DelRosario on bench.

Morrow apparently day to day. This is a good chance for them to practice playing without Morrow.

...not so bad Wolfenbarger/Smith 11pts 13 boards combined so far.

No Morrow, no problem. The much maligned post tandem of Wolfenbarger/Smith use her absence to both build their own 'Angel Reese happy meal' double doubles.

Combined they are: 8 of 11 for 24 points and 27 rebounds!

Morrow may take a whole week off.

LSU now up by 20 v Georgia.

GCU on the road in Riverside with a WBB leading 22 game winning streak on the line against the Lancers. 2:00 p.m. till ESPN Plus.

Lancers have won five of their last six the only loss being a pounding in Phoenix by the Lopes earlier this month.

I know Molly Miller will have the team focused and not looking beyond CBU. That said Grand Canyon appears ready to win out and race through the WAC tournament and there's a possibility they will enter the big dance with the winning streak intact.

NAU visits Eastern Washington and continues to try to find their best self in anticipation of the Big Skyy tournament. After trailing Idaho earlier in the week Leia Beattie finally got on track ending the game 5-6 from three land. As I mentioned earlier she will be critical if the Jacks are to beat the Bobcats in the upcoming tournament in Boise.

NAU a 3:00 p.m. tip off on ESPN Plus.

And now we come to what should be another notch on Natasha Adair's rebuild as the staggering Sun Devils look to extend their losing streak to 13 games in Provo. ASU a horrible road team (they're actually horrible anywhere they play in all facets of the game) one and nine and opponents are averaging 88 points per game over the last 2 weeks. BYU has something to play for (WNIT) and while ASU is certainly is playing in the spirit of the Adair rebuild the Cougs should really get well against a team that absolutely refuses to defend the three line and the lane. 4pm on ESPN plus which without a doubt should be the least watched game on ESPN plus today. I will be tune in to hear the BYU announcers compliment Natasha Adair on her rebuild and how she really is keeping her players motivated. This should be almost as funny as the 50th anniversary SNL show.

Let's not forget the kitties and their fashionista coach. They should extend their winning streak to two games in Houston in order to keep their very very faint(I think Creme has them as the third out) hopes of dancing alive. Their next two games against Texas Tech and ASU will certainly be victories (I wonder if anyone would classify any of these wins as good ones) as they head in the Big 12 tourney. Those hopes are based upon the anticipated run the kitties would have to accomplish post season. So they get to play Houston again in the first round and then have the opportunity to beat the Buffaloes. At this point the kitties would achieve 20 wins but then would certainly lose in the quarterfinals. I'll leave it to you to reflect on the kitties chances of dancing with a 20 and 17 record and losses to Molly Miller's Grand Canyon squad and Loree Payne's NAU Lumberjacks.

In any event the 6:00 p.m. tip on ESPN plus would be interesting if for nothing else to see the fashion statement that Barnes makes down in Houston.

Anticipate Arizona schools going three and one today with the only loss being the nice coach from Delaware 2021 CAA Coach of the Year winner and her rebuild in Provo Utah. Today's loss will be 20 on the season and give Adair her third consecutive 20 loss season with 60 total losses as she has brought an awe-inspiring level of awfulness to Tempe.

West hartfords Yaya Felder having a solid first half in Baylor’s double digit lead at half vs Iowa St.

no afternoons off
kicking myself for not going to the big showdown in Greensboro

UNLV @ Colorado St. going on right now. If UNLV wins I think they clinch the Mountain West. If CSU wins they move within 1 game of first and still have a chance at the conference crown.

I had planned to go to this game but.............

UNC-G prevails in a barnburner vs cross-state rival Western Carolina on Senior Night 57-53 as WCU misses a 3pt shot in the closing seconds that would have tied the game.

Clinched the outright SoCon regular season title and the #1 seed in the tournament for the first time since 2020.
Reaches the 20 win plateau for the season
Finishes its home schedule undefeated.... 14-0... best mark in program history

That's kinda cool. Anna Get Asi from Oklahoma St. and Johanna Teder from Colorado are both from Tartu, Estonia and apparently they are close friends.

Iowa St whose colors are red and gold is wearing black and silver. They deserve to lose.

Baylor and West Va both finishing strong — I think one of them gets a 4 seed over Ohiost or Kentucky.

Dinnibier potential game winner rattles out. Drake-Missouri St. going OT. Missouri Valley lead on the line.

Gonzaga just had their 14 game winning streak snapped. Lost at home by 2 to San Francisco. Portland still has an outside chance at the WCC title, although GU swept the season series. I think Washington St. wrapped up #3 earlier today.

UNLV was up as much as 18. Colorado St. battled back to make it tough, but UNLV held on.

I keep saying it: if I was looking for a young up and coming coach, I think Lindy La Rocque would be at the top of my list. Now in her 5th season, has absolutely dominated the MWC at a school without much history.

Missouri St. 3 w/ 11 seconds left to take a 1 point lead, then forced a TO. Another 30+ game for Dinnebier.

Missouri St. wins 82-79. Probably locks up the conference, now w/ a 2 game lead.

edit--oops, 4 games left, so things could still change, but MSU definitely in the drivers seat

.-.
Columbia and Princeton getting underway, winner will be alone in 1st in the Ivy.

Montana St. really put it on their rival Montana. 98-66 final, had them doubled up for a good chunk of the game. MSU set a program record with their 18th straight win.

Another blowout in a rivalry game, Kansas St. drubs Kansas 90-60. 15 assists for Sundell!

Arizona update

Grand Canyon extends its D1 leading winning streak to 23 games in Riverside.

NAU takes care of business at Eastern Washington hitting 11 threes and all five starters in double figures. Unfortunately the Jacks gave up 77 points and it doesn't bode well for the upcoming tournament matchup with Montana State.

ASU blows an 11 point first half lead to trail BYU at the half. This will be their 20th loss of the season and 13th in a row.

And the kitties are preparing for their 6:00 p.m. tip off in Houston. I suspect Cunningham will manage to get 20 minutes on the floor against the Cougs.

Columbia snapped Princeton's long home court winning streak in a game that went down to the wire.
Appropriate that this upset benefits the Columbia of the West I'm of course referring to the kitties down in the dirty t

Hey @azfan Arizona St. just benefited from an absolute phantom foul to tie the game w/ 12 seconds left. Skinner flat out fell down all on her own, nearest BYU player was several feet away.

Looks like Arizona St. is gonna have to wait at least one more game to hit the 20 loss plateau. 9-0 run to start OT. BYU has fallen apart. How long can Coach Whiting keep her job? Keeps getting worse every year she's been there.

edit--14-2 in OT, BYU was atrocious. If I was a fan, I would definitely be starting up the "Fire Whiting" chants.

Ikr....... In spite of a determined effort to lose the game after amassing a first hal 11-point lead the refs must have decided enough is enough. We know Adair is extremely appreciative and will have to wait for the next game for that coveted 20th loss.

In another bizarre turn the Houston Cougars are leading the kitties by 11. After racing out to 11-2 lead the kitties have gone strangely silent and the Cougars are now on top 33-22.

Fashionistas may well be disappointed in coach Barnes relatively muted blue outfit.

Up to 7 active players for this one. Hughey has depth now

Did Houston just get a buzzer beating 3 to force OT?!

Come on coaches, how many times do we have to go over this? Up 3 you foul before they shoot, you can't lose.

edit--I guess it has to go to OT, because Cunningham hasn't fouled out yet; usually doesn't take anywhere close to 40 minutes to do that
