Week 16 - Feb 16 to 22

Cal w/ a tough loss at Miami, Canes w/ the sweep of the Bay Area schools.

NC State recovered to beat Syracuse by 13.

Duke and Louisville. My issue with them is maybe the ACC has made them look better than they are? If there are options… I would prefer to put other teams on that 2 line.
That was my whole thing when I saw Duke creeping up to the #2 seed line. OOC was bad and beating ACC teams THIS YEAR doesn't mean much.

Are we SURE Tennessee makes the tournament? I think they probably will, but is it a lock? They’re in a tailspin and could finish the regular season at 16-12 on a 6-game losing streak. The first game in the SEC tourney might be a must-win if so.

.-.
Richmond just lost to George Washington, which is a Q4 loss.
True, but they aren’t 5-11 in conference play. Let’s face it. Power 5 schools have had plenty of opportunities to nail down their spot in the tournament.

Nebraska's not going to make the tournament. Mississippi State probably won't, especially if they lose out (they still have TAMU on the road and #7 LSU).

That said, neither team lost to a team that's as remotely as bad as George Washington. Mississippi State has Q1 wins to balance out their bad losses (Richmond doesn't and might not be able to get one at this point).

Richmond will be in the NCAA Tournament if they win the A10 tourney.

Oklahoma holds on 100-93. Vols have given up A LOT of points in several of their games.

I'm with you. They are 16-10, 8-6 as of today. The "SEC battles each other" argument has gotta go in this case. There are 10 SEC teams with overall records better than them. They've lost to ranked NCSU, UCLA, Louisville, UConn, SC, Texas, Ole Miss, and OK. Unless they make a run, I just don't see it.

If Tennessee loses out. I would fire the coach.

I would like to see progression when a new coach is involved. I would like to see that something is being built.

Fire a coach that was extended at the end of last season?? She’ll be owed quite a few million

I was not expecting the top two ACC teams to lose today. Congrats to Virginia and Clemson 😬
That was unexpected, but it certainly didn't change perception. Now, we're hearing "Duke and Louisville actually aren't that good lol".

As much as I hate to say it, I think Tennessee is safely in. Their seeding should be plummeting though.

I will bet large sums of money you are wrong.

22 net, 4 quad 1 wins
They’re in

Hey @triaddukefan can I borrow your paper bag? Prince drills a 3 w/ 7 seconds left, Nebraska beats Washington by 1 on the road. Huskers haven't been able to beat anybody halfway decent all season. Huskies stink. Fire Langley.

Dawgs had 62 at the 4:44 mark. They scored 3 points the rest of the way. Scoring droughts are their trademark.

Anybody have a team they want to give me? I'm tired of the one wearing purple.

Ill give you Duke just stay away from UConn
Hey I said I don't enjoy scoring droughts! Maybe Duke figured that out this year, but most of Lawson's tenure has been highlighted by...challenges scoring the ball?

Does the Big East have 2 comfortably in the Tourney? I'm just not sure about Nova. 15-4 in conference 22-6 overall. 1 good win OOC over West Virginia. Lost to Fairfield and Princeton who will probably not get at-large bids. Blasted by UConn the first time and closer the second game, but not that close. Other conference losses @ Marquette and @ St. John's. Just not sure there's that much to their resume. Teams below them in the conference really get sketchy.

.-.
Iowa State 21-6, not ranked if they beat 12 TCU ya think they should jump Tennessee in the polls?
