Stanford cruised past USC 83-57. 10-26 3's (4 for Jump, nice to have her back). Brink with another big game, 26 pts/14 reb/3 blocks.

USC fell to 2-8 in conference. They have talent. Gottlieb doing even worse there than I expected. Great hire.

It's tough to come in and turn things around immediately. Even when there's some talent there (and there is some at USC), the players have to learn a new system.

I'm not expecting big things from Gottlieb, but also not judging her a failure this fast.

As a non-USC fan I'm just glad Gottlieb doesn't coach the kind of maul ball I'm used to seeing from USC.

Like I've said for years on this board...and one of these days yall will believe me... but when you are on Tobacco Road.and the Southern Baptists and the Methodists meet up on the hardwood ... throw out the bibles record books... Duke prevails in a hard fought battle over Wake Forest... 81-76.
The resurgent Blue Devils shoot 56% from downtown... led by Lexi Gordon's 23 pts on 9-11 shooting.... and Shy Day-Wilson's 22 pts on 7-14 shooting... and most important... only 1 turnover.

looks like rumors of Baylor demise were exaggerated. 2 back 2 back wins vs Texas, and 1 close loss to a good top 15 team in OU. Would not shock me if they don't drop in the rankings alltho some would say they should be out of the top 16. Not bad for a head coach who "can't coach"

I don't personally think Baylor is in demise this season but I don't think this team is as good as previous teams. They lost a lot of production from last year and don't have as much depth (mostly due to the coaching change). They are a good team thats very senior heavy (which may end up being the critical piece during post season). I think things will be interesting for Baylor next year though when Smith leaves (I assume she will, she is one of the top picks).

Big 12 is interesting though, OU, Kansas St, Iowa St and Baylor are all hovering near one another. Iowa St and OU could end up breaking the streak for the regular season title. A lot of games left to be played.

Idk what to make of Texas, they are a solid team but certainly seem pretty pedestrian at times. They lost on their home floor to Kansas and Texas Tech.

People are catching up to the fact that Vic has no real offense. He plays at an ugly slow pace, if you can speed up the game he is lost.

I don’t understand Vic’s offense. The weave offense dribbling back and forth across the court over and over makes no sense to me. It’s hard to get good looks. I remember his last team at Miss St doing it and didn’t care for it then. Texas will go as far as it’s defense will take them. They just aren’t gonna score a lot of points unless their defense makes things happen. They don’t have the players or the offensive system to score efficiently in the half court

Clark was pretty amazing towards the end of this game but Michigan was too much for Iowa. I’m super impressed with Michigan this year. That’s a team that can go very very far

By a hair if you ask me. The fact the Clark was able to make it seem like they could threaten in the 4th was a tad nerve wracking to watch. Had that switch gone off sooner in the game............ooooh boy it could have been something.
