Happy Monday folks. Hope all y'all that are in this storm's path are staying warm and safe. I'm trying to kill time before our first middle school girls' soccer game tonight, and ESPN is taking its own sweet time for web pages and links to finally cascade from their rankings page. @Centerstream knows my pain. Nine (!!!) top 25 matchups. A fast follow of conference vs overall records, same as last year.

Top 8 conferences per Warren Nolan NET as of this morning. Teams shaded in color have most disparity between conference and overall records (3 or more spots differential). The ACC wins this week with the most disparity. There are a lot of teams within 2 spots right now.

FYI - Michigan @ Michigan State is on FS1.
 
Drama free early game for Washington today @ Rutgers. Up 43-20 at the half and coasted the rest of the way. Although Ladine apparently limped off the court before the half and never returned, so that's not good.

Just pointing out, in Tennessee's case, the Lady Vols have only played 17 games. All the teams above them in the overall standings have played at least 20 games, most have played 21 and a couple have played 22. If Tennessee records wins in its next few games, their number of victories will catch the others ahead of them.

Gotcha. There's a lot of crazy this early in comparing conference vs overall standings, I just like to see what happened over the next few weeks.

Will the real Utah please stand up? Cannot figure that team out. Very up and down season for them. About to beat West Virginia handily.
 
Heads up for possible weekend postponements in the Carolinas. They are forecasting anywhere from a trace to 12 Inches of snow in Central NC.

Creighton beats Saint John’s by 30. That’s a pretty surprising result. But they are a different team when the 3 ball is hitting.

3 home losses in a row for the Terps. Too many injuries for this year’s edition. Could have been a really good team. Looking like a bottom half BIG team with road games still at OSU, Michigan and Sparty.

I was on the road most of the day, had no idea the game was even happening or what the score was at any point. So my obliviousness was clearly the key to this win, I take full credit.


Sellers likes playing Maryland, she's lit them up a couple times. But Garzon likes playing Washington, doesn't matter which team she's playing for.
