Week 13 games (Feb. 15-21)

Washington St. running away from Utah 48-28.

Last-place Boston College upset the 3rd place ACC team, Georgia Tech, today, 49-43.

Washington St. 68-55 over Utah. Utes maybe put a little window dressing on it at the end?

Leger-Walker 22 points on 6-16, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals. She's certainly a nice player but not sure she's better than Bueckers as Sue Favor pretends.

 Nobody in the world actually thinks she's better than Bueckers. She's a volume shooter, not particularly accurate, who can pile up points. WSU would be a whole lot worse without her, that's for sure.

Ok, I will bite, "who's Sue Favor?" and why do any of us care what she thinks?

At the half, 26-22 Cal. Taya Hanson who tied the ASU 3 point record with 7 in Tempe when the teams met in Jan is 0 for 8.

Cal hits a season high quarter scoring wise with 21 points against, what was thought be some (me) to be a solid defense.

Cal put a scare in Arizona last game. Maybe they've improved quite a bit all of a sudden. I know nobody wants to be the team that gives them their first win of the season.

Okay, I stand corrected. Charlisse has been really good for her team, but I think a vast majority of people who have paid any attention realize Bueckers is a better player.

Uh oh. Cal leading Arizona St. by 12 early in Q4.

Hanson is on her own for ASU. She has 17, nobody else more than 6. Cal up 11 w/ a minute left.

Well I really thought Cal was gonna go winless. Got that off their back. 67-55 final. Wow, tough year for CTT and her crew. They just can't score.

I remember Cal was desperately in need of healthy guards. They picked up an early HS grad Mia Mastrov recently, and I see she scored 12 points against ASU.

She was great in her debut against Utah. She hasn't been shooting real well since then, but I've liked what I've seen from her, seems to have a nice feel for the game. And a high energy player, maybe that's been infectious.

McIntosh had a good game today too.
