You beat me to it. They have won 4 of their last 6 games, now 2-2 in conference.NCCU won again this evening 76-71. Obviously their brutal non-conference schedule made them battle tested for conference play.
Definitely a puzzling regression to have watched over the last four years. As a freshman at Duke she looked like she could become a future national star. Hasn’t worked out.Now wishing the LSU-Vandy game had been scheduled for 8 pm. Would have been a better option in comparison to the first half of this NFL playoff game.
Game didn't disappoint for effort and competition. It slipped away from Vandy in the end but man, they have LSU everything they could. LSU almost doubled them in rebounds but it looks like free throws was where Vandy was able to keep it close.
Day-Wilson's regression continues to surprise me. Hearing Caroline Peck pointing out she was the worst free throw shooter on the court at 48% left me gobsmacked . She was always considered the player you didn't want to foul during her highschool and AAU days.
I think you have to consider LSU. Washington and Stanford both choked away what could've/should've been wins against them. Tennessee nearly overcame a large deficit against them. They're pretty sketchy for 18-0, it's gonna bite them eventually.Hard to know what to make of SEC. LSU with close wins over Tenn and Vandy. None have played difficult schedules, so are they all good? All stink?
I root for Vandy but their previous 2 SEC games were not good. Were those an aberration, and their near win tonight is closer to who they are?
Bottom line: following the demo of Tex this weekend, there’s a big gap between SC and the rest.
Honestly, my head agrees with you, but my heart observes that almost every season people are looking for reasons to county Kim Mulkey out, and Kim Mulkey - likes she always does - just punches back harder. Until the autopsy report comes back, I'm just not going to believe they're cooked.I think you have to consider LSU. I think they've all played good enough competition for us to know that they don't stink. To me, it's more or less ambiguous if Tennessee and LSU are top 10 or a step or two lower. Right now I think both could be in the 2-8 seed range. I think Vanderbilt has shown enough to label them a team in the 35-50 range -- good enough to make the tournament as a 9-12 seed but not among the elite. If you held a gun to my head and told me to pick a seed for each team, with the information we know today and the "eye test" I would say that LSU has the players to be a 2 seed, Tennessee looks a 5 seed and Vanderbilt looks like a 10 seed.Hard to know what to make of SEC. I’m still surprised with how bad South Carolina beat Texas. I expected them to win but just not in that fashion.Hard to know what to make of SEC. LSU with close wins over Tenn and Vandy. None have played difficult schedules, so are they all good? All stink?

I think quite a few of us expected it to be closer.I’m still surprised with how bad South Carolina beat Texas. I expected them to win but just not in that fashion.
If tx could’ve shot a lofty 33%, it would’ve beenI think quite a few of us expected it to be closer.
That 6% could have made a difference. Calling 33% lofty though, that's wild.If tx could’ve shot a lofty 33%, it would’ve been

I was being sarcastic to show how absurdly bad their shooting was. That 6% could have made a difference. Calling 33% lofty though, that's wild.
That's why I used the laughing reaction. Fully aware it was tongue in cheek. It had me bust a gut laughing which was sorely needed to start my day.I was being sarcastic to show how absurdly bad their shooting was.
(Btw, 33% would’ve been an extra 8 points. 39.3 % would been 18.)
